Lasik Eye Surgery California : What Happens To Your Vision After Epi-LASIK?
After Epi-LASIK surgery, your eye will feel irritated for a day or two. Therefore, it is important to know what to expect on your vision after the surgery.
The following are what you may expect in your vision:
- Your vision will change through out the whole day. So it’s is advisable not to be involved in any activites that requires you to use your eyes regularly. Example: Driving.
- Your vision may be blurred for 4 to 7 days after Epi-LASIK surgery. After this initial period of blurred vision, most people will regain full vision.
- It is absolutely normal that one eye usually heals faster than the other. This is so as the faster healing eye is more comfortable than the other initially. After a few weeks, the slower eye will catch up with the faster eye in healing.
- Regular scheduled visits to your eye doctor will enable your vision to be monitored. The eye doctor will then be able to evaluate your recovery progress. After a few months, full vision will be able to be attained.
So, do not worry if you do not regain full visual vision after your Epi-LASIK results.
